“He enhances with what he is given and leaves them better than when he arrived. He treats them with respect and they reciprocated nearly immediately. He uses his own experiences through music to enhance a lesson and uses humor to create a unique experience for the students.
“When Matt comes into my classroom, I know the students are going to have a great rehearsal and will be able to come back the next rehearsal immediately pick up where he left off. I have had a small handful of students attend Peru State in the last year, and I’m certain a reason they chose this school is because of the work Matt did while they were in my high school program.”
